Has since struggled over the longer distances (2m 3f – 2m 4f), placing eight last time out in April, at Perth. Returns from a break and needs to show a little more, however this small field offers a solid chance. Backed well in this afternoon.

(2) (8:05pm Brighton) DAY TRADER was 8/1, now 3/1
Nine race maiden, who has placed four times so far, including over C&D (good) last time out, when a 100/1 shot and a length and a half behind the winner. Comes in off the same mark and Jimmy Fox will be hoping his recently acquired charge can continue the form, although soft ground is an unknown factor for this runner. Plenty of interest and should go very well.

Last of five victories came ten races ago, when sealing a double at Bath (5f, soft) back in August of last year. Form has been intermittent since, with a second here at Brighton (5f, soft) back in May, arguably the best run. Market interest now back at Brighton, but needs to show a little more, with each-way backing the safer option, despite the movement on the boards.

Only UK was back in April 2018 over the flat and had shown little form, until recently when fourth of sixteen at Southwell (1m 7f, good to soft) in March and then fourth again at Ludlow (1m 7f, good to soft) in May. Looks to be enjoying this foray over hurdles and can improve off the latest. Retains headgear.
