A fourth at Kelso (2m 6f, soft) in December was probably the pick of recent form, when some 4 lengths adrift of Empire De Maulde. He was badly hampered in latest at Warwick to negate that result, but with a drop in class today, he should be in the mix for the spoils at very least.

(2) (4:05pm Clonmel) SHANTOU SISU was 16/1, now 13/2
A previous course and distance winner, this WJ Lanigan runner returned to hurdling, after struggles over fences and has finished fifth in two starts since, including last time out at Clonmel (3m, soft to heavy), when 37.5 lengths adrift of the winner. That trip looked way to long for him and return to 2m looks much more suitable. Can build on previous runs here ad could feature.

(3) (3:17pm Taunton) DUNBAR was 12/1 now 7/1
Fourteen race maiden, but has placed in four, although the last of those was back in the Summer of 2019. Has tended to run freely in latest starts, with the fourth last time out at Chepstow (2m 3f, soft), seeing them finish some 28 lengths back. Tongue-tie fitted today and if he can settle into a calm start to the race, he has the ability to get involved.

(4) (1:45pm Wetherby) PANIC OVER was 30/1 now 11/1
Six race maiden, who has shown some improvement in last couple of runs, finishing fifth at Catterick, before a sixth in latest at Wetherby (2m, soft). Probably more to come, with places a possibility.

A seven race maiden, who has picked up a couple of places in the last three trips, including a second at Fakenham (2m 3f, good to soft) back in January 2020, when just a neck behind Quantum of Solace. Will strip fitter for a first run in seven months at Exeter, but may need to show more, with a small place wager the only option.
