Only career win came nearly two years ago at Epsom (7f, good) and has looked useful since, picking a handful of placed finishes, including in the penultimate run at Lingfield (1m, a/w) last October, when half a length behind Accomplice. Returns after a seven month break for John Mackie in a yard debut and off a competitive mark too. Every chance here.

Last of the three hurdle wins, saw them secure a Worcester double, back in September 2019. Six runs since have produced average displays, including a third at Newton Abbot (3m 2f, good to soft) in October, but has only beaten one runner in each of the last two, small field chases. Needs to show improvement, with place backing looking more likely.

Mazameer gelding, out of Sister Red. Fourth foal and half-brother to winners in Spring Cosmos (RPR 96), Miss Laila and Ravens Hill. Dam was also a 2-yo winner over 7f. Jim Goldie’s yard is in good form, which will likely explain the money coming in for this runner, but places looks the more likelier outcome on debut.

(5) (2:30pm Leopardstown) GOOD JOB POWER as 25/1, now 10/1
Only win came some 22 months ago, when winning at Epsom (7f, good to firm), but has regressed since and has not been able to improve since switching to Denis Hogan’s yard over in Ireland, placing fourteenth and twelfth in two starts. However, a big drop in mark offers some encouragement, as does the strong backing. Places worth a shot at this price.
