Races nineteen days later, but was subsequently pulled up, with the quick turnaround a possible issue. Unexposed over this discipline and can improve further. Strong chances this afternoon

(2) (1:30pm Leopardstown) FIGHT ZONE was 13/2, now 4/1
Sent off as favourite on debut at Curragh, but struggled to fifth place over the 6f trip. Extends to a mile this afternoon, which should suit, but may need quicker ground to get the best out of this Ger Lyons colt. Tough ask to beat favourite Fernando Vichi, but open to improvement with experience under his belt.

(3) (1:40pm Uttoxeter) TIS FANTASTIC was 9/1 now 11/2
Expected to have picked up a victory, after successive second placed finishes as Chepstow and Southwell at the back end of 2019, but struggled on heavy ground at Huntingdon, when pulled up approaching the final couple of flights in his first run after a wind-op. Questions remain on stamina, with this extension to 2m 7f, although better conditions should help here.

(4) (4:25pm Pontefract) DRAGON GLASS was 12/1 now 7/1
Not the most impressive of debuts, when 22 lengths off the winner over C&D, sixteen days ago, but looking beyond the result, she travelled well that day under a patient ride, before running into a fair bit of trouble. She did stay on well however, so on paper, the result doesn’t do her justice. Expect much more here and with a potential surprise.

(5) (2:30pm Leopardtown) VOYAGEOFDISCOVERY was 18/1, now 10/1
9yo has not won since 2018, when taking the spoils in a handicap at Dundalk. Has only finished better than seventh in last eight runs, when third also at Dundalk in March. Wide draw this afternoon doesn’t bode well and no more than a fleeting chance as an each-way selection.
