Proved that was no flash in the pan, with a second over C&D, eight days ago, when 0.75 lengths behind shock 50/1 winner, Magical Dragon. 5lbs higher mark isn’t ideal, but looks the main threat to favourite, Bolly Bullet. Backed in over night and this morning, with each-way backing looking a no-brainer based on recent form

Sealed a double at Wexford (2m 4f, goog) in the penultimate start, 7.5 lengths clear of Emir De Rots. Returned from a mini-break to land a second at Limerick (2m 6f, good), finishing 8.5 lengths adrift of Double Windsor last month. Up 10lbs since that victory, but looks very capable of landing another win here, with plenty of market interest too.

Promising start to career, when fourth on debut at Sandown (7f, heavy) last month, when finishing the best of the newcomers that day. Continues to wear the hood here and has attracted a fair bit of backing on the boards. More to come from this half-brother to four winners, with each-way claims looking the stronger suit.

Five race maiden, whose best finish has been sixth. Has finished 9 lengths or more behind in each of those contests, including the latest at Wolverhampton back in April, when last of ten and a huge 26 lengths adrift, Returns from a break and despite the poor record, has attracted a fair amount of backing with bookmakers. Places looks the bets chance, if any, but one for the brave here.

Sealed a treble, when taking the Class 2 – Silver Bowl at Haydock (1m, heavy) back in May, when 1.25 lengths clear of Seasett and a further 4.5 lengths ahead of the rest. Rose 11lbs, when eighth of twenty in the Britannia at Royal Ascot, but has more to offer here and has previous on fast ground. Each-way backing looks a decent selection.
