Ran out a game winner of a course and distance handicap back in May and gained his first win since when scoring at Carlisle last month. The addition of first-time cheekpieces appeared to unlock some improvement there, and that headgear is retained this afternoon. Clearly will have no issues with the return to Beverley, and the six-pound rise received for his latest success looks manageable.

Has posted progressive RPR figures in each of his six starts to date, running out a comfortable winner at Nottingham on his penultimate run. Ran well of a much higher mark at Goodwood afterwards, where he was arguably unfortunate not to win having endured trouble in running on more than one occasion. Richard Kingscote (who was aboard for the aforementioned Nottingham success), is back doing the steering today, whilst a pound rise received for that Goodwood effort could well prove lenient.

Ran to a consistent level in his first three chase starts, posting an RPR of 106 on each occasion. Nowhere near that level in his two starts since returning from a break, finishing pulled up after jumping poorly at Cartmel last time. Returning to this more conventional track should suit though, and this likely isn’t going to take a great deal of winning.

Colt who has been limited to just the four career starts to date, performing above expectations when third on handicap debut at Newbury last time. That certainly wasn’t the strongest of races, but still slightly surprising to see him dropped a pound in the handicap since, and he has the potential to improve for this step up to 1m2f.

Arrives here a fourteen-race maiden, but interesting to see him sent off favourite for recent stable debut at Cartmel. Could only muster a distant fifth there, but he has been dropped three pounds since, and now has a tongue-tie fitted for the first time. Bang in-form yard currently 6-19 with their runners this season.
