Will hopefully settle a bit easier having made debut at Haydock (6f, good to firm), when difficult to load into the stalls and pulling hard at the beginning, although credit should go to jockey, Kevin Stott for picking up a third place (of eight). Temperament aside, he looks a decent prospect and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him pick up a victory. Jack Mitchell rides today.

Enjoys Tipperary, having won twice and placed in three starts here on the flat, including the latest, when second to Place Des Vosges by a head over 1m 4f (yielding to soft) ten days ago. Returns to hurdle action this afternoon and off a good mark.. Every chance and well backed in the market.

(3) (2:40pm Uttoxeter) EUREU DU BOULAY was 12/1, now 5/1
Has picked up two wins in twenty starts, with the last of those back in December of 2018. Been running well in general, just on the outer fringes of the places and returned from a four month break, when fourth at Market Rasen (2m 7f, good) last month, finishing 10.75 lengths behind, clearly needing the run. Drops down in class this afternoon, but will need to improve, to grab the win.

(4) (7:30pm Windsor) KATTANI was 16/1, now 11/2
Only victory came at Curragh fourteen months ago, with form since not looking too great. Returned to action at Sandown (1m, good to firm) on debut for Michael Appleby last month and clearly needed the run, finishing ninth (of thirteen) in a Class 4. Extends to 1m 2f here but needs to find more, with a first time tongue-tie also an addition. Each-way claims look most likey.

Lightly raced since debut in November 2018 and has not shown too much in terms of form, with the most recent of runs bringing a poor fifteenth at Exeter (2m 2f, soft) last November. A fair bit of market attention overnight is noteworthy despite that record and worthy of attention, if continuing to shorten.
