Has progressed well in three runs so far, following a debut fifth on the all-weather at Kempton, with a fourth at Newmarket (6f, good). His most recent run saw a return to fibresand, when missing out by a neck to Starman at Lingfield last month (6f). Makes handicap debut today and with an inside draw has solid claims here.

Made a fair start to career, with a fifth at Thirsk, when five lengths off the winner. Igel Tinklers charge showed good pace, before weakening in the final furlong, but should strip better for this contest, while improvement generally looks likely.

(4) (7:00pm Kempton) SWINLEY FOREST was 9/1, now 9/2
Returned to action in good form, when second over C&D, before following up with a victory also over C&D last month. Elevated in class on the turf at Redcar, but struggled to a fourth, finishing 4.25 lengths off the winner. Returns to more favoured conditions here and has attracted a fair bit of interest. Every chance.

Adrian Keatley isn’t known for his 2-yo’s, but this runner has made a couple of solid performances so far, with a fourth at Ayr (7f, good) looking the best of those. He followed up with a fifth at Redcar (5f, good to firm) but that looked a little too short for him. Return to 7f will no doubt help, whilst a competitive mark offers plenty of encouragement for backers.
