1: MISS HERITAGE (1:30pm Catterick) (4 votes)

Won a handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (1m 7f, heavy) back in February, decimating the field by 37 lengths that day, but dropped off in several Class 3 contests, before returning to form at Ludlow (1m 7f, good to soft) at the beginning of the month, finishing second in a Class 2 outing and just half a length behind Miranda. Rise of 4lbs isn’t ideal, nor a deal breaker and assuming that recent form continues, she has a strong chance here.

2: ANYTHINGFORLOVE (2:00pm Catterick) (4 Votes)

Winner in three of four career starts so far, including latest at Lingfield (2m, heavy) at the turn of the month, when 7.5 lengths clear of Strike Hollow. Half sister to Sizing John has a penalty to contend with, but has another big opportunity here. Tongue-tie tried for first time this afternoon.

3: DELTA WORK (2:25pm Leopardstown) (3 votes)

Won this race last year, when ahead of Kemboy and beat his rival again in the Irish Gold Cup (3m, yielding to soft) back in February. Jumped poorly in the Cheltenham Festival equivalent back in March and looked to need the run on seasonal debut at Down Royal (3m, yielding) at the end of October. Should strip fitter for this defence of title and looks set to give Minella Indo a battle.

4: GOLD MINER (12:20pm Catterick) (2 votes)

Impressed in only career start so far, when a 33/1 second at Leicester (2m 4f, soft), when just 1.25 lengths adrift of MIdnight River. Drops back in class this afternoon and with a 3lbs jockey claim, looks capable of going one step further and taking the spoils. Strong favourite and ca justify that here.

5: FURY ROAD (1:15pm Leopardstown) (2 votes)

A couple of disappointing runs at this venue previously, but a greater stamina test is likely to aide his chances. Without the runs at this venue, his record 11131, putting him firmly amongst the favourites. He returned for seasonal debut at Punchestown (2m 5f, heavy) in the Grade 2 – Celebration Hurdle, beating Dewcup by 3.5 lengths. Plenty of ability and expected to be amongst the leading contenders.
