Today’s Exotic Bet Of The Day
Tuesday’s exotic is a Swinger bet in the 4:30pm at Yarmouth. For those uninitiated, a Swinger requires bettors to pick selections and have them both finish in the places, in this case the first three.
The first of the two selections is Voi, who has picked up a succession of third places recently, including over C&D (1lb higher) at the beginning of the month (good to firm). That was followed by the third at Sandown a week ago, when 4.5 lengths off the winner, Geranium. That 1m 1f trip looked a little sharp, so a return to the extended trip should aide her chances.
The second choice is Collodi , who goes looking for a hat-trick of sorts, after victories at Southwell (1m 7f) and most recently at Market Rasen (2m) in handicap hurdles. He has not appeared on the flat since April 2019, so has a little to prove, especially at this sharper 1m 3f trip. Hayley Turner rides and with a bit of a weight advantage over some of his rivals, has a decent opportunity to stake a claim.
