Race 1 (1:00pm) JIFFY BOY
Creditable third of twelve for this Robyn Brisland runner, on debut at Doncaster (5f, good to soft), when 5 lengths behind Persian Force, just a week ago. More to clearly come, off the back of that performance and likely to feature, now with some experience behind him.
Race 2 (1:35pm) VENTURA RASCAL
Five wins in fifteen starts, including the latest, when beating Empirestateofmind by a head at Ayr (1m, good to firm) back in September. it s been a while and the return to action isn;t without its danger, with fitness to prove, but Kevin Ryan’s consistent performer is more likelier than not, to step up once again and prove his abilities.
Race 3 (2:10pm) TARATARI
This Caravaggio colt, got off to a strong start, when second of eight at Doncaster (6f, soft), back in November, when 1.75 lengths behind Hebrides, but pulling away from the rest. Eve Johnson Houghton’s charge is expected to improve and with William Buick onboard, has strong claims here.

Race 4 (2:45pm) WATERMELON SUGAR
Archie Watson’s runner, got off to a perfect start, five weeks ago, when taking the spoils on debut at Wolverhampton (6f, a/w), when beating Sir Henry Cotton by 0.75 lengths and the useful Dalby Forest behind. Looks to have plenty more to offer, off the back of that performance and should not have too much issue with the step up to Class 4 level here.
Race 5 (3:20pm) NOMAN
Two wins in four, including a victory at Ayr (1m 2f, good to firm), nearly a year ago, beating Doctor Parnassus by 0.75 lengths. He unsurprisingly struggled somewhat on return to action in February, when fifth of six runners at Newcastle (1m, a/w), but that will certainly have done his sharpness, the world of good as Hugo Palmer looks to extend him over 1m 4f here. Solid claims and should be in the mix.
Race 6 (3:55pm) JUAN BERMUDEZ
Made a difficult start to his career, when eighth of thirteen in a Class 4 at Salisbury (1m, soft) back in September, before stepping to Class 2 level and taking the spoils at Newmarket, the following October, when beating The Gadget Man by a head and some 2 lengths clear of the rest. Step up to 1m 4f is an interesting change for Andrew Balding’s runner here, but clearly should have plenty more to come, in what will be only his third run.
