Race 1 (1:45pm) LIHOU

Five career wins, with the last of those coming at Wolverhampton (5f, a/w) back in January in a Class 4 contest. Has since been the perennial runner-up in three of the last four trips, all at Class 2 level, including when missing out by a head at Kempton (5f, a/w) in his penultimate start. Last month, Disappointed five days ago at Goodwood (5f, good to firm), when fourth of five, but is expected to improve from that blip on the copybook.

Race 2 (2:15pm) YIBIR

Sealed a double in his penultimate start, when a length clear of Megallan at Newbury (1m, good) back in September in a Class 2 contest. Returned to action, thirteen days ago, when third in a Group 3 contest at Sandown (1m 1f, good), finishing just 0.75 lengths adrift of Alenquer and looks in good form. Cheekpieces added and looks a strong contender

Race 3 (2:45pm) BUXTED TOO

A win and two places in just four career starts so far, with the victory coming at Chelmsford (7f, a/w) last month, beating State Secretary by a nose in a Class 5 contest. Showed his abilities in latest, when stepping up to Class 2 level in the Esher Cup at Sandown (1m, good), when a 6 length second to Naamoos in an excellent performance. Can reaffirm that form here and still is relatively unexposed.

Race 4 (3:15pm) MORANDO

Seven wins in twenty-three races, although the last of those was back in October 2019, when winning the Cumberland Lodge Stakes at Ascot (1m 3f, soft). Latest run saw them place fourth last October, when second in the Group 2 Long Distance Cup, also at Ascot (1m 7f, soft), when 8 lengths adrift of Trueshan, who opposes today. Should have a better chance here, with a 5lbs swing in his favour, but more needed to take the spoils.

Race 5 (3:45pm) SARVAN

Five race maiden, whose best run was a year ago at Lingfield (6f, a/w) , when third of four, but only 2 lengths adrift of the winner. Has disappointed in a couple of runs more recently, but a drop in mark and a drop in class may just stir some progress. Risky selection but hopes are he comes good once again.

Race 6 (4:15pm) ZOLTAN STAR

Solid debut last month, when second at Windsor (5f, good), 1.25 lengths behind a shock 150/1 winner in Arboy Will, however three runners behind in that race have since gone on to take victories, which only enhances that form. Plenty more to come and could grab a victory on only his second start.
