Race 1 (1:25pm) FORCA BRASIL

Cotai Glory colt out of Naias who cost 60,000 gns as a yearling. Half brother to winners, Muker and Lady Mega, while Dam is a half sister to Group 3 winner, Snaefell. Trainer George Boughey had a 14% success rate with 2-yo’s last season and could see another success here.

Race 2 (2:00pm) BOUNCE THE BLUES

Two wins and two places in opening six career starts so far, including a win at Naas (7f, soft) in the listed Owenstown Stud Stakes, when half a length clear of Soul Search. Recently finished second in another listed contest at Newmarket, when half a length behind Cloak Of Spirits. More to come you feel and this looks a great opportunity to get back to winning ways.

Race 3 (2:35pm) GLOBAL ESTEEM

Only victory from nine starts, came at Yarmouth (1m, soft) back August, when beating Purgatory by 2 lengths. Has not found it so easy since stepping up in class, but a fifth last time out at Wolverhampton (6f, a/w) showed signs of improvement, when finishing just 2 lengths off the winner on stable debut. Potential for more to come and can go close in this open contest.

Race 4 (3:10pm) DANYAH

Goes well fresh, having won on seasonal debut over the last two years, with one his three career wins coming over at Doncaster (7f) in October 2019. His last run also garnered a win in September, when 1.5 lengths clear of Alternative Fact at Haydock (1m, good). Still unexposed over the mile and could well feature, with plenty of expert opinion backing his chances

Race 5 (3:45pm) SUMMERGHAND

Failed to finish in first two starts of the season, being pulled-up and unseating his rider, but went close at Wincanton (2m 4f, good) last time out, when 3.75 lengths behind Paddy’s Poem, when wearing a tongue-strap. Looks likely to improve further with a full run under his belt and will be one of the main contenders for the victory

Race 6 (4:20pm) DHUSHAN

Impressive debut form Willie Haggas’s charge, finishing second at Goodwood (1m, good) back in September, when beaten by just a nose to Star Caliber, with the pair 5 lengths clear of the rest. This Sea The Stars colt looks a class act and should be in the mix once again. Ceiran Fallon rides this afternoon.
