Race 1 (1:10pm) VIVIDLY

Won here over 7f last year in a Class 2 and comes into this race in good form, following a (20/1) fifth in a Class 3 Fillies Handicap at Ascot (1m) last time out, finishing 4.5 lengths off the winner. Only had four career runs so far and should improve further. William Buick rides for the first time.

(Alternative Selection: ANGEL POWER)

Race 2 (1:45pm) DEREVO

Three wins from seven starts, including a double at Pontefract and Newcastle a year ago. This Sir Michael Stoute runner returned to action, when third at Doncaster last month. He weakened at the end, but comes in 5lbs better off and can certainly go close in this 1m 2f contest.

Race 3 (2:15pm) DEVIOUS COMPANY

Won twice at Haydock last month, keeping on strongly in the most recent of those, when winning by 0.75 lengths, ahead of Legion Of Honour. However it was at Newmarket, where he really showed his abilities, when finishing second to Master Of The Sea, in the Superlative Stakes seventeen days ago. Favourite Battleground will be tough to beat, but he will certainly keep them honest.

Race 4 (2:45pm) SAFE VOYAGE

Excellent strikrate of 42%, this JJ Quinn trained runner picked up a treble at Haydock last year and has since finished no worse than third. He was beaten by race rival Space Blues on seasonal return (also Haydock) over 6f, before winning the Surrey Stakes at Epsom, beating Vale Of Kent by 1.5 lengths over the 7f trip. Will thrive with moisture in the ground and likely to go close.

(Alternative Selection: SPACE BLUES)

Race 5 (3:15pm) STRADIVARIUS

This triple Ascot Gold Cup winner, has also won this race on three occasions too. Picked up a third in the Coronation Cup over a short 1m 4f trip, but returned to winning ways, when retaining his Gold Cup crown, beating Nayef Road by 10 lengths. Santiago will keep this iconic stayer honest, but he looks better than ever and should take the spoils.

Race 6 (3:45pm) CELSIUS

Returned to seasonal action, with a victory in a Class 3 at Haydock (5f), before struggling over an extended 6f trip in a Class 2 at the same venue. Ran a few weeks back, when second at Newmarket, finishing 1.25 lengths behind winner, Han Solo Berger in a five runner field. Looks sharp and won’t have an issue if conditions soften..
