Race 1 (1:50pm) PATIENT DREAM

Three career wins so far, with two of those in the last three starts. Returned to action with a victory at Epsom (1m, good) back in April, when a length clear of Coul Kat, before placing fourth in a Class 2 contest at the same venue, this time over 1m 2f, when finding little room to manoeuvre. However in the latest at Windsor (1m 2f, soft) he beat Sarvan by a neck. Rise of 3lbs in a competitive contest isn’t ideal, but there is more to come I feel.

Race 2 (2:25pm) ASYMMETRIC

Debut victory over C&D (good) last month, before following on with another victory at Newmarket (6f, good to soft), a fortnight later (both Class 4). Stepped up in class for latest, again at Newmarket (6f, good to firm), when narrowly beaten by a head to Lusail in the July Cup. Strong claims on that latest performance and should feature

Race 3 (3:00pm) THIRD REALM

Picked up a victory at Nottingham on second start (1m 2f, good to firm) in April, before beating listed company, in the Derby trial at Lingfield (1m 3f, soft) in May, when 1.25 lengths ahead of eventual big race winner, Adayar as a 14/1 shot. He couldn’t repeat that form at Epsom, finishing fifth and some 11 lengths adrift that day. Relatively little experience still, so plenty of improvement possible here.

Race 4 3:35pm) **(JOAN OF ARC**

This Aiden O’Brien runner won the Group 3 – Irish Guineas trial at Leopardstown (1m, good) back in May, before just missing out to Empress Josephine in the big race itself at Curragh (1m, heavy) a fortnight later, She went one better in the Prix De Diane last time out at Chantilly and looks very likely to feature again this afternoon.

Race 5 (4:10pm) HIGHLAND PREMIERE

Plenty of improvement over opening career runs, culminating in taking a maiden win at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) last month, beating Smullen by a neck. Took a month off and returned with another win at Catterick (7f, soft) in a five runner nursery contest, 3.25 lengths ahead of Lethal Levi. Rise of 5lbs isn’t ideal, but should still deliver.

Race 6 (4:45pm) SHOUTOUT

Havana Gold filly, out of Lady Dragon and half sister to winners in Afraid Of Nothing (RPR 98) and Twisted Reality (RPR 91). Dam has placed among listed company and is a half-sister to a Swedish Group 3 winner, Dorcia. Was a non-runner at Leicester yesterday, so clearly these are more ideal conditions.
