Race 1 (1:45) ZILLION
Picked up a second career win at Chepstow (2m, soft) back in April, beating Stormy Night by 6 lengths, with the rest a further 12+ lengths adrift. That was followed by a solid fourth, over a much shorter trip at Newbury. Returns from a five month hiatus off a good mark and has genuine chances here.
Race 2 (2:20pm) LIL GUFF
In strong form, with a win and four places in the last six starts, with the victory coming at Kempton (6f, a/w) on the penultimate start, when 2.35 lengths ahead of Modern Artist. That was followed by an impressive second under penalty at Ffos Las (6f, good to soft) last time out, when a head to Chepchik in a restricted contest. Strong opportunity to continue the form and strike gold here.
Race 3 (2:55pm) SPANISH STAR
Latest of six wins, came at Newbury (7f, good) back in August, when 0.75 lengths ahead of Fangorn in a Class 4 contest. Has since placed 643, with the third at Salisbury (6f, soft), seeing them just 1.25 lengths behind. Consistency is key here and another strong performance is expected.
Race 4 (3:30) HOME CITY
Picked up a double on the penultimate start, when taking the spoils at Chelmsford, beating Harb by 1.25 lengths and justifying the odds on status. Struggled in the attempt to make it a treble, when taking on a tough sales contest, but should bounce back here on handicap debut, especially with a decent starting mark.
Race 5 (4:05pm) ISLAND FALCON
Iffraaj colt, out of Adoringly and a half-brother to 1m 2f winner, Royal Partnership. Dam is also an unraced half-sister to 7f, winner, Anamoe. Any Saeed Bin Suroor newcomer deserves respect on debut and this one is no different and is expected to be involved;
Race 6 (4:40pm) CHAMPAGNE PIAFF
Three wins in seven starts, including the latest at Epsom (1m 2f, good), when beating Arenas Del Tiempo by 0.75 lengths, with the pair a further 3.25 lengths ahead of the remaining runners. Looks to have more to come, off the back of that win a fortnight ago and should in the hunt here, with a double not out of the question.
