Race 1 (1:00pm) GORDON’S JET

Two wins in four starts, including in latest at Chepstow (2m, good) last month, when 0.75 lengths clear of Famoso on debut for Brian Ellison. More to come and looks capable of building upon that performance this afternoon.

Race 2 (1:35pm) SILKEN MOONLIGHT

One career win in eighteen starts, but that came three runs ago at Carlisle (2m 1f, soft) in March, when 3.5 lengths clear of Sawpit Senna. Followed that up with a second over today’s C&D, before struggling to deal with the 2m 4f trip at Ayr last time out. Reverts back to a more favourable trip and expected to be heavily involved.

Race 3 (2:07pm) HATS OFF TO LARRY

Picked up a sixth career win and first over hurdles, last time out at Market Rasen (2m, good), when beating Danger Money by a length. Although a workmanlike performance, he comes in without a penalty and can build upon that success here, in what is a straight battle with Zamarkhan.

Race 4 (2:37pm) AUTHORIZO

Some sparks of strong form her and there, with the last of two career wins coming at Stratford (2m good), when 4 lengths clear of Homing Star. A second on return from a seven week break at Southwell (1m 7f, good) could have been better, having been checked twice in that race and has solid claims here.

Race 5 (3:07pm) CHRISTOPHER WOOD

Seven wins in twenty-seven starts, with the last of those at Musselburgh (1m 7f, soft) in February, when 3.75 lengths clear of Voix Du Reve in a Class 2 contest. Struggled in penultimate start, when eighth at Kelso (2m, good to soft) in March, but returned to place second over the same C&D (good to soft) nineteen days later, behind Tommy’s Oscar. Makes chase debut today and should have too much for his opponents, if transitioning from flights without too much issue.

Race 6 (3:37pm) BLUE SANS

Won on debut in November, at Warwick (2m, good), before being out of his depth at Huntingdon (1m 7f, soft) in a Listed contest the following month. Returned to action at Sedgefield (2m, good) last month in a bumper placing third and should fare well over hurdles, while the increased trip should also be favourable.
