Race 1 (1:50pm) JAVA POINT
Seven race maiden, who has picked up successive seconds in recent starts, including the latest at Newbury (2m, good), when just a neck behind Iron Heart. Extended 2m 5f trip is a minor cause for concern, but being back amongst maiden competition should see them through here.
Race 2 (2:25pm) STYLISH DANCER
Picked up a second career win in latest run at Hereford (2m 5f, good), finishing 8 lengths clear of Kilchreest Moon. Extends in trip for this first attempt over fences, but does escape a penalty from that victory. Strong claims here.
Race 3 (3:00pm) GOLD CLERMONT
Not much to shout about in opening four runs, but improved significantly, when second at Ayr (3m, heavy), when just a neck behind The Ogle Gogle Man seventeen days ago. Rises 7lbs but looks to be in a straight fight with Everything For You for the win.
Race 4 (3:35pm) GENEROUS DAY
Twenty-seven career starts and picked up a sixth victory last time out, when beating Grand Turina by 6 lengths at Hereford (2m 2f, soft) last month. Up 7lbs today, but has defied a higher mark prior and has a perfect record over C&D in two starts, including this same contest back in 2019. Strong chance, although can ill-afford any mistakes against strong favourite, King D’Argent.
Race 5 (4:10pm) EL BORRACHO
Six wins in forty starts, with the most recent of those sealing a double back in August, at Southwell (1m 7f, good), when 1.5 lengths clear of Leroy Leroy. Form since has taken a dip, with fourth and fifth placed finishes since, while a return from a four month break last month, saw them place sixth at Kempton (1m 7f. a/w). Likely to need a career best performance to take the spoils, with each-way backing the safer option
Race 6 (4:45pm) CAID DU BERLAIS
Three wins in five starts, with a strange run of win, pulled-up win and so on, in that time. The latest victory, saw them 3.75 lengths clear of Golden Tobouggan at Wincanton (2m 4f, good) earlier this month. Former winner of the Champion Hunter at the Punchestown Festival back in 2019, sets the standard in this contest.
