Race 1 (1:00pm) BENIGN DICTATOR
A win and place in four starts so far, for this Olly Murphy trained runner, with the victory coming on debut at Uttoxeter (1m 7f, good), in a bumper contest, ahead of Delta Run. After a strong second at Uttoxeter in the penultimate run, he placed fourth, when up in trip at Southwell. More to come and capable of showing that here.
—————
Race 2 (1:30pm) ABEGUDSAM
Two runs so far for another of Olly Murphy’s contingent, with a third on debut at Uttoxeter (1m 7f, good), followed by a fourth of at Hereford nineteen days ago, when up in trip. Plenty of optimism here for this qualifying run under handicap and certainly can feature in this relatively weak contest.
——————-
Race 3 (2:05pm) WIND TOR
Comes into this contest with successive victories, both coming at Exeter, including over 3m (soft) just eight days ago, when 6 lengths clear of Wilderness. The 10-yo is lightly raced for her age and can make it a hat-trick, if continuing the form, with places almost assured here, on current form
———-
Race 4 (2:40pm) MONEY SPINNER
Five race maiden, who has placed third in the last two starts, including the latest at Taunton (2m 7f, soft), when 3.25 lengths adrift of winner, Trixster. Goes in as favourite, but may need to show a little more to actually take the win here, however expect a place finish at very least
———-
Race 5 (3:15pm) ROCKSTAR RONNIE
Four wins in eight starts for this Dan Skelton runner, with the last of those at Kempton (2m 2f, good), back in November, when 13 lengths clear of Atholl Street. A return from a break saw them finish last but one, again at Kempton, eleven days ago, although he clearly needed the run. More to come and is expected to be in the firing line for the win.
————
Race 6 (3:50pm) HEAD LAW
Two wins in four starts for this Jonjo O’Neil runner, with the last of those coming at Huntingdon, when beatign Bucephalus by a neck, twenty-five days ago. That was arguably a tougher contest than this handicapping debut and he should go close once again.
