Struggled last time out, when fourth of five at Perth (2m, good), but this looks a lesser contest and Donald McCain’s runner is expected to bounce back strongly here. Big chances with La Domaniale the main threat.

Twice a winner in seven starts this year, including last time out at Uttoxeter (2m, good), when gaining revenge over Ten Past Midnight, turning around a 4 length deficit, into a 5.5 length win. Comes into this contest under penalty, but conditions suit once again and goes in as the clear favourite in the market too. Looks the one to beat.
8:00pm – MULBERRY HILL
Solid PTP runner, who has improved under Fergal O’Brien so far, winning at the third attempt under rules, when 9.5 lengths clear at Worcester (2m 4f, good). This mare has also placed second in three runs, including last time out at Aintree, twenty-five days ago, finishing just 1.75 lengths behind Cremant. Looks to have ideal conditions here and goes in as favourite for this contest.
