6:20pm Curragh

The opening race is a mile and a furlong, group three outing, featuring a dozen runners. There are joint favourites for the race, with Goddess and Trethias sharing the duties, along with the RPR ratings.

Goddess comes in off the back of a class one win at Gowran Park last time out, which followed on from a runner place previously. Trethias has also won a class one race, winning at Naas back in June and since finishing eighth in a race afterwards, has had a good six weeks or so off, which should benefit.

Viadera looks to be the best of the rest and did win a class one at Killarney last time out, but may well have to improve further still to grab the win.

GG Selection – TRETHIAS

6:50pm Curragh

The next race is a mile trip, playing host to a huge twenty-six runner field. Despite the large field, Numerian is the clear favourite for the race and has real quality, as shown when third in a class one at Dundalk recently. With six runs under their belt, further improvement is expected and this could be a perfect opportunity to grab a victory.

A plethora of runners can all put themselves into the challengers bracket, although at 11/1 bar the leader, this will require better performances in general. Among those with a decent chance are previous winners Kattani and Hortzader, while Yuften, Trading Point and Zap all share the top RPR rating. However On A Session is the GG selection and comes in off the back of a strong second at Galway last time out.

GG Selection – ON A SESSION

6:55pm Hamilton

The third race brings our first from Hamilton, with a mile and a half race, hosting thirteen runners in this class three outing. GG selection and favourite is Sapa Inca who has two wins in the last four outings, with a class three victory at Ascot last time out.

There are a group of five challengers according to the betting, with Paths Of Glory and Beyond The Clouds both winning last time out at Ffos Las and Ripon respectively, while Lariat also looks worthy of note among the quintet.

GG Selection – SAPA INCA

7:20pm Curragh

The second half of this Jackpot returns to Curragh for a seven furlong race, as a cavalry charge of twenty-four battle for the victory. Despite a massive field, it’s Blacklooks who goes in as clear favourite for the race, thanks to a second at this course last time out and has a couple of wins over this distance.

Leading the rest of the field is Buzz Killington who has performed well in three career starts, with plenty of improvement expected from this three year old. The rest are 8/1 bar, with the GG selection of Imposing Supreme in good form, including a recent win at Galway over a mile.

GG Selection – IMPOSING SUPREME

7:25pm Hamilton

For the penultimate race, we head back to Hamilton for a mile and a half trip, playing host to eleven runners in this class five contest. Deinonychus who won at Nottingham last time out, is another race with a clear favourite in the market, with a group of challengers waiting in the wings.

Among the challengers are last time out winner Flood Defence, while GG selection Corton Lad won a class one trip at Sandown back in April and looks to have a big chance at this lower tier. Donnachies Girl is another one to look out for, with the six year old backed in from 11/1 to 7/1 at the time of writing and having picked up a win at Redcar recently.

GG Selection – CORTON LAD,

8:00pm

The final leg of the Scoop 6 is a five furlong sprint, with this class six race hosting fourteen runners. This looks to be a two horse contest between favourite Piazon, who won last time out at Ayr and Guardia Svizzera who will be looking to return to winning ways, since winning over course and distance a year ago.

Hard Solution is the best of the rest and is the GG pick here, thanks to a recent run of straight wins a couple of months back, which included a win over course and distance too.

GG Selection – HARD SOLUTION
