Despite that, he has been consistent, with a recent record of P24-44, although a fourth of six on chase debut, over C&D (good) may not quite look as weak as the result suggests, finishing 4.5 lengths behind a useful Kauto The King. Yard debut today and if he is ridden with patience once again, he could well feature heavily.

The gelding ended last season with a fifth of ten at Chepstow (3m 2f, good) back in April, before returning for a strong seasonal debut, ran well from outside the weigths, placing third at Lingfield (2m 7f, good to soft), 14 lenghts behind Movethechains, who was 2/5 fav. Comes in 12lbs lower this time around and off the back of that run, can certainly feature here, with that maiden victory very close indeed.
