Winner on debut at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) last month, when a head clear of Endeared, before missing out on a double, by half a length to Noble Style at Newmarket, nineteen days ago when under a penalty and looking very capable of running at a higher level. Rise in trip looks liekly to suit and looks one that once again can feature in the battle for the places.

4:10pm – ZOFFEE
Some strong performances since switching to Hugo Palmer’s yard, including the securing of a double in the Northumberland Vase at Newcastle (2m, a/w) in June. He followed with a third at Newmarket (1m 6f, good to firm) in the bet365 Trophy last month, when just a head behind winner, Soapy Stevens. The 2m 4f at Goodwood looked a little too much last time out and a better performance is expected.
4:45pm – SANDBECK (each-way)
Three wins in four starts, since switching to Jack Mitchell’s yard and comes in looking for a treble, having added to the win at Haydock in June, with a victory at Doncaster (5f, good), some 1.5 lengths clear of Jeans Maite at the turn of last month, striking with a strong run from the rear. This is a tougher assignment, but off the back of that performance, should have more in the tank to put them in the mix.
