Three runs for Archie Watson so far, have failed to show any of that previous form and it’s hoped a revival comes at a venue he enjoys. Places look the more obvious selection based on those recent starts.

Best form came for Liam Bailey, when taking a maiden and only win at Musselburgh (1m 1f, soft) a year ago, has been racing for Roger Fell since April and has found minor success in the penultimate start, when third of thirteen at Hamilton (1m 1f, good), 1.5 lengths adrift of Eilean Dubh. Continued the decent form last time out, here at York (1m, good), whens sixth of twenty, with Eilean Dubh once again too good, but respected here and capable of a strong run.
