Cheltenham Gold Cup Entries 2026 - 11 horses line up on Friday 13th March

Inothewayurthinkin, Gaelic Warrior and The Jukebox Man all feature among the 11 horses set to line up in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, which will take place at the Cheltenham Festival on Friday 13 March at 4pm.

A stunning winner of the race last spring, Inothewayurthinkin is already a prominent figure in a wide open Cheltenham Gold Cup betting market, but he’s struggled for form this season and will be hoping a return to Prestbury Park can revitalise him, and he’s one of the standout names amongst a star-studded list of staying chasers.

Ben Pauling’s The Jukebox Man battled to victory in a memorable King George VI Chase at Kempton Park on Boxing Day, as he handed his owner Harry Redknapp Grade 1 glory. Now, set to try and win one of horse racing’s biggest prizes, The Jukebox Man will be one of the leading lights for Britain, as they look to recapture the trophy from Irish hands.

Nicky Henderson has saddled the likes of Bobs Worth and Long Run to victory in more recent times and he has entered Jango Baie, who won an action-packed Arkle at last season’s Cheltenham Festival, but showed when just touched off in the abovementioned King George that he will be seen in a better light over three miles+ this season, and Jango Baie will be another flying the flag for home brigade.

A runaway winner of the Welsh Grand National for Rebecca Curtis, Haiti Couleurs has been given an entry and the Chepstow hero has shown stamina is his forte, whilst Dan Skelton’s Grey Dawning breezed to Betfair Chase glory at Haydock Park earlier in the season and is another that has to be given the utmost respect in the race.

Gaelic Warrior and Fact To File fought out a pulsating finish in the John Durkan Memorial Chase at Punchestown earlier in the season, with the former then going very close in the King George. The former Arkle hero has a fine record in Grade 1 company and is set to be a leading challenger for top trainer Willie Mullins.
