Bath is one of just two tracks in action on Sunday and our expert has delved through their card identifying a horse, jockey and a trainer to note. Check these out, along with an exclusive sign-up offer for new customers at 888sport of Bet £10 and Claim £40 In Bet Bonuses.
HORSE: LITTLE HUSTLE – (3:50pm, Cazoo Restricted Maiden Stakes)
There’s a horse with a top-class pedigree running at Bath on Sunday in the form of LITTLE HUSTLE, who takes up an engagement in the track’s extended 1m3f maiden.
Andrew Balding’s charge is the first foal out of a Frankel mare in Amser, who herself was a half-sister to nine winners including Group 1 winners Passage Of Time and Timepiece.
Despite this eye-catching pedigree Little Hustle was sold out of Juddmonte for just 5,000 guineas as a yearling, yet showed an aptitude for racing when third on debut at Kempton in February. Although ultimately beaten seven and a half lengths Little Hustle showed ability under hands and heels riding and that form has worked out well since with the winner subsequently going in at Listed level.
This looks like a particularly weak maiden and therefore it’s expected that Little Hustle wouldn’t have to improve dramatically on the bare form of that last run to be up to landing this event.

TRAINER: ADRIAN WINTLE – (Blue Hero, 4:20pm)
Gloucestershire-based trainer Adrian Wintle has proven particularly profitable to follow when sending runners to Bath, with the yard showing a profit of +56.13 to level stakes at the venue and holding a strike rate of 25% with their runners.
They have two representatives on Sunday’s card, with both runners coming from the 1m Class 6 handicap. Of the pair, it is BLUE HERO that is favoured in the market and looks like the pick of jockey Tyler Heard.
This son of Air Force Blue runs in the trainer’s red and black silks and has so far proven a good purchase for 20,000 guineas out of Mick Appleby’s yard, gaining two wins from seven starts for connections last season.
Both of those victories came here at Bath, and Blue Hero was beaten less than 2l when attempting to land the hat-trick when last seen back in October. He runs off the same mark of 59 for his reappearance and has gone well fresh in the past, but it may prove that 1m2f is his optimum trip nowadays.

JOCKEY: BENOIT DE LA SAYETTE – (Rubbeldiekatz, 4:55pm)
Benoit De La Sayette has done well since returning from his six-month ban, and actually rode RUBBELDIEKATZ to victory on his comeback ride at Wolverhampton last month.
He maintains the partnership on Sunday when travelling to Bath for the sole ride in the track’s concluding 1m handicap.
Rubbeldiekatz disappointed when attempting to supplement that Wolverhampton victory at Kempton just over a fortnight ago, but connections now turn to a first-time hood for the filly and she hasn’t had a whole host of opportunities on turf.
This is Benoit De La Sayette’s first ride at Bath, but trainer George Scott has a good record at the track, with ten of his previous 16 runners finishing in the first four (two winners) and if the headgear manages to bring Rubbeldiekatz back to form then it would be no shock to see her go close.
