Bookmakers have had their say on how the 2025/26 Premier League table could shape up this season.
The usual heavyweights dominate the top of the market – but will it be one of this trio of Liverpool, Arsenal, or Man City who lead the charge? Or could a dark horse rise from the chasing pack to shake things up this season?

Sunderland‘s Tyne-Wear derby success propelled them back into the bookmakers’ top half, an astonishing effort from Regis Le Bris’ men given they were predicted to finish bottom before the season started. They are the only movers in the top ten, with results refusing to shift any of the protagonists for the title.
In the bottom half, the biggest losers were Tottenham, a stuttering 3-0 defeat away to Nottingham Forest seeing them drop as low as 14th according to the bookies’ odds, below the likes of Bournemouth and Fulham, who both picked up points at the weekend.

Start Of The Season Bookies’ Predictions
Winners
Bookmakers are predicting a three-way battle for Premier League glory this season with Liverpool installed as the 19/10 favourites to defend their crown. The Reds will face stiff competition from bridesmaids Arsenal (53/20) and Man City (7/2), with the latter looking to claim their seventh title under Pep Guardiola.
World Club World Cup victors Chelsea have seen their odds cut from 20/1 to 9/1, followed by Man United (25/1), Tottenham (50/1), and Newcastle (70/1), while Aston Villa are out at 100/1.
Top-4 Finish
Given the above, it’s no surprise to see the favoured trio of Liverpool (2/13), Arsenal (1/5), and Man City (1/4) as odds-on shots to claim a top-4 finish. Similarly, Chelsea can be backed at 4/6.
Newcastle, who just missed out on the top-4 last season, are priced at 3/1 alongside a Man United side looking to recover from a wretched 15th. Aston Villa and Tottenham are 9/2 and 5/1 respectively in the betting, with Brighton leading the chase behind at 20/1.
Relegation
Down at the other end of the table, bookmakers aren’t giving much hope on new boys Burnley (1/3), Sunderland (4/9), and Leeds (11/10) staying up. After all, recent history is bleak with the three promoted clubs swiftly relegated back down to the Championship in each of the last two seasons.
Brentford, who lost their manager and star player, are next in line at 3/1, just ahead of 10/3 priced Wolves, and then West Ham at 11/2. Everton, 7/1, are the only other club at single figures.
Top Half Finish
All of the heavyweights feature as odds-on to finish in the top half, from Liverpool and Arsenal at 1/100, to Brighton at 4/6. The betting gets a little interesting at 7/5 with Bournemouth, followed by Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace at 15/8. Everton can be backed at 2/1, ahead of Fulham and West Ham at 11/4.
