Ebor Festival Trends - Your Guide To The Big Races on Day 2 at York

It’s Day 2 of the York Ebor Festival on Thursday and we’ve taken a look at the key trends of the big races in an attempt to identify some winners. Check out these selections and you could GET UP TO £30 IN FREE BETS

LOWTHER STAKES (1.45 York, 6f Group 2)

17/18 had won before

16/18 had two or more previous runs

15/18 foaled in March or earlier

13/18 finished first or second last time out

12/18 drawn in stall 4 or higher

12/18 won last time out

7/18 trained by Richard Hannon, Mick Channon and William Haggas

Market leader Sacred could prove hard to beat but she’s an April foal so it could be worth taking her on with Irish raider SUSSEX GARDEN who was foaled in February. She finished second in a Group 3 on her last start but had earlier been successful and is well fancied in the market.

Not a good race for favourites or for those with recent form with the majority of the last 17 winners finishing out of the place last time.
