GG.COM Tipsters: Meet The A-Team!!

GG.COM is well known for its hugely popular “GG Tips” section ran by Kenny Dean, who has been in scintillating form in the last week. GG.COM is also home to several industry leading judges and below we put name to the GG Team of tipsters and give you guys some insight into what they’ve been up to lately…..

At GG.COM, we pride ourselves on providing – for free – great horse racing based tipping content. To do that over the years, we’ve called upon some well known names and even discovered some now well known talent of our own. Here, meet our team of tipsters, with a little insight into why our users enjoy what they do so much, and perhaps why you should make them a regular part of your betting armory.

GG Tips – Kenny “King” Dean

Many people who use GG.COM regularly, know us primarily for our free tips in every race, every day; along with the “Top Tips” which include Kenny’s “bet of the day”, “outsider of the day” and various multiples. Rightly so. Kenny has been doing this for 12 years and is a long standing member of the GG tipping team. Just last week, Kenny went through the card at Market Rasen, tipping every winner there! He followed that up with a 9/1 winning outsider of the day the following afternoon. In fact, Kenny, for all he has hot and cold periods like we all do, is best known for his consistency; that admirable ability to chisel away through all codes, all race types, all year.

That is why we love him. Find Kenny’s tips at GG Tips every day. Tips are usually posted the night before racing.

Kevin O’Malley – GG.COM Writer & Tipster

Kevin O’Malley has worked full time for GG.COM since 2012 and his “Tips Den” column continues to be a hugely popular and essential port of call for GG.COM users. Utilising a unique approach to betting on maiden and novice races, along with a killer thirst for discovering value in big handicap and graded races in the UK & Ireland – on the flat and over jumps – Kevin’s following continues to grow and grow on the racing scene.

2014 was a testing year for many a shrewd judge, but even though it was moderate by O’Malley’s own very high standards, the Tips Den still managed to churn out a very respectable +92 points profit and a Return On Investment (ROI) of 11% from a high stake turnover of 829 points.

Sam Turner AKA The Mail’s “Robin Goodfellow” – Champion newspaper tipster!!

Sam Turner has been with us for over 9 years now and we’re proud to have watched his development as a national newspaper tipster and broadcaster during that time. Known as “Robin Goodfellow” in the Daily Mail, Turner has won the national press NAPs challenge once and the National Press Challenge three times, so he’s a proven champion tipster and a regular on Racing UK and, increasingly, on Channel 4 Racing.

Sam provides GG.COM’s huge audience with a daily tipping column, which is seen by so many who visit us as a natural port of call on any day’s racing and with good reason. In the early part of 2014, he tipped Top Wood in a big Saturday handicap hurdle at 25/1, who duly obliged for backers. True to form, he continued 2014 in a similar fashion, firing in big race winners such as Court Minstrel (16/1), Eastern Impact (14/1) and G Force (11/1). The list does go on and on. Ayr Gold Cup winner Louis The Pious was another notable NAP winner at 10/1.

Malcolm Heyhoe – RP Weekender lead tipping columnist + “Heyhoe’s Daily View” NEW!! to GG.COM

From the very beginning of GG.COM, Malcolm Heyhoe has been a part of our tipping team. A man who brings decades of journalistic experience to the table, with a keen and sharp eye for spotting a good horse and certainly find value.

Heyhoe is one of the Racing Post’s feature columnists in the RP Weekender, and has just this month launched a new tipping column, exclusive to GG.COM. Each evening or early morning, “Heyhoe’s Daily View” will provide punters with Malcolm’s best bets for the day’s racing. He has already been firing in the winners, but we’re sure as this series develops, it will become hugely popular on the website. Be sure to get involved and keep an eye on this one folks.

Andrew Mount – Trend Horses and Track Bias Diary

Many would argue we saved the best until last in introducing our tipping team. Andrew Mount is a formidable horse racing judge, a professional punter whose approach to profiling horses and statistically analysing every aspect of horses and the conditions they encounter, has seen him develop into one of the industry’s leading authorities and write several books published by Raceform. Mount re-joined GG.COM last year and his daily Track Bias Diary column proved an instant hit with punters ranging from beginners to professionals.

Mounty has recently re-launched his “Trend Horses” service to GG.COM, this time in a free to all format on the GG.COM Blog. His outstanding methods for profiling horses to discover their best conditions and betting accordingly, saw him bang in a really impressive winner of the Lanzarote Hurdle last weekend. If there was ever an example of Andrew Mount at his most clinical, this is it.

Along with Tea For Two, Mount has produced some cracking winners in his Track Bias Diary. Duc De Seville was one such winner, who went in at 14/1 SP on the 12th of December at Wolverhampton. Here’s what he wrote that day:

”Duke Of Marmalade offspring have a good strike-rate at Wolverhampton since the Tapeta surface was laid, winning seven of their 23 starts (30.4% strike-rate) for a profit of £6.05 to a £1 level stake. The Clive Cox-trained Duc De Seville could well boost those figures when he lines up in the 32Red Nursery Handicap over the 9.4f trip (5.30). He very much caught the eye at Nottingham on his handicap debut in mid-October, keeping on well into mid-division after blowing the start. That race, like many at Nottingham, was dominated by those who raced up with the pace and it was a huge effort to make the frame. Today’s longer trip will suit, as will the likely strong pace.“ ……..Tipping horses doesn’t come much more effective than this.

Ebor winner Mutual Regard was advised at 22/1 E/w in Track Bias Diary too and has been home to a clutch of fantastically sourced winning bets.
