The 2025/26 jumps season promises to be yet another rollercoaster ride over the coming months. Willie Mullins has now conquered the Breeders’ Cup on the flat (is there anything he can’t do?), but although he became Britain’s Champion Trainer once again, and trained the first three home in the 2025 Grand National, there are still so many prizes he will be keen to win back after State Man’s fall in the Champion Hurdle and Galopin Des Champs’ defeat in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
That is just one storyline pondered by GG’s expert Weekend Watch team of Andrew Mount, Dave Young and Kate Tracey below. As well as their predictions for some of the key meetings and storylines, both Andrew and Dave give their top five horses to follow with a view to some of the biggest weekends throughout the jumps season who should return punters a profit.
