GG.COM Strengthens Editorial Team

GG.COM is excited to announce that it has strengthened its editorial content with the addition of two excellent racing writers.

Joining Malcolm Heyhoe, Sam Turner and Kevin O’Malley from tomorrow will be LAURA KING. Laura is based in Dubai where she works as presenter and producer at the Dubai Racing Channel, having previously held position in newspapers and magazines with the Racing Post, RaceWeek and Equestrio. Whilst concentrating on Dubai racing across the important spring carnival season, Laura also travels extensively and covers International racing for the channel.

Laura is joining GG.COM to add an authoritative focus to our editorial as an extension to the International racecards we already publish for events on the World stage including; The Dubai Word Cup and Carnival, The Arc de Triomphe, The Breeders Cup, The Melbourne Cup, The Hong Kong Cup and many more. A growing interest in International racing fueled by the trend of top horses, jockeys and trainers increasingly targeting the best of the world’s biggest races is fertile ground and an area we know you’ll want to keep up to date on. We welcome Laura to the site and look forward to her first Dubai Carnival Update tomorrow.

We’re also delighted that after a spell away from GG.COM, racing writer, author, ex-odds compiler and successful punter, ANDREW MOUNT is returning to the site this week. Andrew’s previous focus was Trend Horses, but he returns with a new daily diary looking at track bias. This important, but often overlooked subject for punters, is not something static to be summed up in a solitary factual paragraph for each racecourse. It is a fluid, changeable issue upon which daily variation in going, in climatic conditions, in course management strategy and of course the draw, can impact significantly on the outcome of a race. Andrew’s task on a daily basis will be to report on these variations in the context of the days racing and in doing so, deliver GG.COM users an essential weapon in the ongoing battle with the bookies.

Look out for both Laura and Andrew starting on GG.COM this week!
