Top trainer Nicky Henderson enjoyed a fantastic weekend thanks to victories from the likes of Jonbon and Shishkin, as well as a 46/1 Sunday double. He has his first runners since on Friday, where he bids for an across the card treble. Check out our expert’s verdict on his runners, alongside an exclusive William Hill Bet £10 – Get £40 In Free Bets new customer offer.
COMMODORE MILLER – (12:45pm Doncaster, Rob Burrow Helping To Fight Mnd EBF “National Hunt” Maiden Hurdle) 11/2
Nicky Henderson goes double handed in his bid to land this extended 2m3f maiden hurdle, a race he took in 2020 with Glynn.
The first of those is COMMODORE MILLER, a 5yo Blue Bresil gelding who has produced progressive form figures in his three starts to date, going down by just a half-length in a maiden hurdle at Fakenham last time out.
That form has received knocks since, but Commodore Miller remains open to improvement and therefore is dangerous to dismiss.

HYLAND – (12:45pm Doncaster, Rob Burrow Helping To Fight Mnd EBF “National Hunt” Maiden Hurdle) 7/1
Henderson’s second entrant in the race is HYLAND, who has finished fourth in both starts to date, finishing a beaten favourite in a Ludlow bumper on debut last month yet improving on that showing when sent off 18/1 on hurdling debut at Taunton.
Another horse who looks a likely improver on just his third start, connections enlist Ben Ffrench Davis for the ride and the conditional rider’s 7lb claim should come in handy.

ROYAL RUBY – (1:25pm Huntingdon, Pertemps Novices’ Handicap Chase) 9/4
Although just 1-13 over hurdles prior, Nicky Henderson’s ROYAL RUBY ran out a facile 23l winner on his chase debut at Stratford last summer, which came on the back of a 527-day absence.
He looked a chaser to follow on the back of that showing, and although a beaten favourite back at the track when last seen in August, he was only 3l off the winner, Goa Lil, whose subsequent form figures read 21231.
He is 2lb higher on reappearance, but clearly has no issues racing fresh and remains relatively unexposed over fences compared with the majority of these rivals.

MILL GREEN – (3:10pm Huntingdon, Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle) 10/1
Representing the same owner/jockey combination as Royal Ruby, MILL GREEN takes up an engagement in this competitive 3m1f handicap hurdle.
This son of Black Sam Bellamy has some classy backform to his name behind the likes of Third Wind and Dashel Drasher, whilst he also accounted for the now 155-rated Eldorado Allen in a handicap hurdle at Sandown.
Mill Green is now just 2lb above that winning mark, and he should benefit from the return to hurdles having not looked a natural chaser.
If successfully seeing out this 3m1f trip, yet to run over 3m+, he looks handicapped to go close, albeit he does come up against less-exposed types.
