The Tote Scoop6 is a fantastic pool bet which gives you the chance to win a fortune for a £2 stake. The challenge is to select all 6 winners from 6 races during Saturday meetings. So check out our selection below, which features races at Newbury and Newmarket with another huge jackpot anticipated, thanks to last weekends rollover.
Even if you fail to select all six winners, you can win a share of the Scoop6 place fund if your selections place in each of the 6 races. Even this lower prize has paid out over £1000 per winner 5 times in the last 12 months. All this for a £2 stake!

Race 1 (2:25pm Newbury) TEMPUS
Winner of two races last year, including Haydock in a Class 4, over a mile in heavy conditions. Last run in October, saw them place fourth at Wolverhampton, when elevated to a Class 3, also over the mile trip. Returns after along break, but rain will have helped his chances here and he can get up and running with victory here.
Race 2 (2:40pm Newmarket) KARIBANA
Strong and consistent performer, who picked up a first victory in a handicap at [Newbury] (7f, good), beating Inhalation by a shorthead. Followed that with a success at Newmarket a fortnight ago, when beating Rodin by 1.75 lengths and a strong chance for a hat-trick even with further weight added.
Race 3 (3:15pm Newmarket) CASE KEY
Improved on first seasonal reappearance, when taking the spoils at Leicester (6f, good) in June, before missing out by 2.5 lengths to well backed Aristocratic Lady at Yarmouth last month. Has won this race twice and no reason why he cannot do so again.
Alternative Selection: Buccaneer’s Vault
Race 4 (3:35pm Newbury) THREAT
A dual Group 2 winner, who has found it a challenge at the highest level since, with a fifth in the St James’s Palace Stakes and most recently, a disappointing run in the July Cup at racing HQ, when short of room with a furlong to go. Will relish the Group 2 return here, while he has had success over the 7f trip.
Race 5 (4:45pm Newbury) WINTER THORN
Three runs for this Roger Varian trained runner and has improved throughout. Did finish fourth at Doncaster (1m, good to firm), but was disqualified when Jack Mitchell failed to weigh in. Latest saw further progress, when second at Windsor over an extended 1m 2f (good to firm). Rises in class for this race, but with Andrea Atzeni continuing aboard, should go very close, if continues the improvement.
Alternative Selection: Mafia Power
Race 6 (5:55pm Newbury) SONGKRAN
Comes in looking for a five-timer, with the latest of those victories coming in a Class 4 at Haydock twelve days ago, beating his three opponents by 2 lengths. Raised 6lbs for this race and takes on this trip for the first time, but even with these potential stumbling blocks ahead, he still looks the one to beat.
Alternative Selection: Sula Island
