Trends To Help You Win On British Champions Day At Ascot

We have an enthralling end to the Flat season taking place at Ascot on Saturday 18th October, as British Champions Day will see a flurry of Group 1 races light up a brilliant afternoon of sport, as some of the premier horses in training do battle.

The Champion Stakes will see the epic clash between Godolphin and Coolmore with Ombudsman representing the former for John & Thady Gosden, while the latter will see Aidan O’Brien’s Delacroix attempt to claim another Group 1 crown. It’s a big day for the Gosden team, as Field Of Gold will be a warm order for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes later in the afternoon, while Trawlerman will be a red-hot favourite for the Long Distance Cup, which will see a small field go to post.

Our trends expert Dave Young has delved into the recent statistics for all the premier races across the afternoon and picked out some of the vital trends you need to know, as he tries to find you a winner or two across the afternoon.

With some real nuggets of information across all the big races, Dave’s in-depth knowledge provides a real insight to what to look for when trying to find out who to back and who to potentially take on.

Here you can find all you need to know about the British Champions Day trends ahead of Ascot’s card on Saturday afternoon.
