I Am Maximus wins Grand National: Where did your horse finish?

The Grand National was regained by I Am Maximus with a sensational victory under Paul Townend. The ten-year-old galloped on too relentlessly for his rivals, flying down the outside to become the first horse since Red Rum to win the trophy having lost it in between.

Despite his usual sticky jumping, including at the last when ten lengths down, Townend conjured an unstoppable turn of foot. He and I Am Maximus took the lead inside the final furlong which they could not relinquish.

Iroko ran on just as strongly from further back form second. JP McManus enjoyed owning the forecast, with fourth-placed Johnnywho also representing McManus. Jordans, who was sent aggressively for home from the third last, looked like holding on for much of the run-in, but was collared late and finished third.

Here are the 16 finishers in the 2026 Grand National, so that you can see where your horse finished in the great race.
