Verdict
There is a suspicion that CAIM remains capable of better and the first-time cheekpieces might help her tap back into her considerable 2yo promise. Rajapour has excelled here this year and is second choice ahead of Naepoint, who is 2-2 here and returned to form at Ayr last time. Yafaarr and Thunder Roar are other possible players.[Ben Hutton]

If THE BIG WESTERNER is ready to rock for her seasonal return she should prove hard to beat on her favoured testing ground. The promising Bossofthebrownies shaped well on a couple of occasions in graded company last season and could give her most to think about. [Dave Stephens]

Verdict
A very competitive heat. Stumptown would not be a surprise winner off his lower hurdles mark. Sportinthepark is respected as he tries to win this for the second straight year. Teed Up has a good record here and the step up in trip could well suit. The solution might be MYSTIC MALINA(nap) who has improved over longer trips and handles testing ground. [Justin O’Hanlon]
