There’s not a lot of early pace in this 6f Group 3 contest for filles/mares and the Patrick Owens-trained ADAAY TO REMEMBER may be able to dominate.
She’s incredibly consistent, recording form figures of 21213342 (2-8), improving to 11332 (2-5) if we ignore her seasonal debuts and runs on soft going. Her stall 3 draw looks useful on recent evidence.
SECRET TO SUCCESS – Yarmouth 4.36 (1pt win – 6/1 Paddy Power, Betfair)
Wolverhampton was a frontrunners’ benefit on August 8th, so it was disappointing that the usually reliable Hollie Doyle didn’t cotton on to the bias, giving Phil McEntee’s filly SECRET TO SUCCESS a patient ride.
She could never strike a blow against the three prominent racers and had to settle for a nine-and-a-half length fourth. That run was better than the margin of defeat suggests, and I’m expecting Grace McEntee to make better use of her today.
