‘ARAMIS GREY was denied her hat-trick when finding Dubai Hope four lengths too good in the 6f fillies’ handicap. She could never strike a blow under a patient ride and wasn’t helped by switching to the ‘dead’ rail on the inside to challenge. She was 5lb higher than for last month’s course and distance win but there could be more to come granted a stronger gallop.’
…she returned to Wolverhampton in late December but got too far behind from her wide draw in Tipperary Tiger’s race and had to settle for sixth of the 13 runners. Today’s track should suit and there looks to be sufficient pace on despite the smallish field. Her all-weather record in 6f handicaps of 11 or fewer runners stands at 11112 (4-5).
