Top tipster Andrew Mount enjoyed an each-way return with Midlands National runner-up Young Dev (10-1 from 16-1) on Saturday and has two bets on Sunday
ANDYS FLAME – 3.15 Downpatrick
ANDYS FLAME got going too late when I recommended an each-way bet on the 33-1 shot at Naas last month, staying on well into eighth of 21, about 13 lengths behind the winner. He was a huge eyecatcher at Fairyhouse back in November, finishing a 125-1 fifth of 15 against the strong pace bias. This point-to-point winner will be suited by the extra three furlongs and can reward each-way support.
SWINCOMBE FLEAT – 4.10 CHEPSTOW
Anthony Honeyball has a solid record when he pitches one of his horses into a handicap hurdle for the first time, scoring with 25 of the 94 qualifiers for a profit of £86.38 to a £1 level stake at SP. Serious Charges was a winner on this system at Uttoxeter yesterday and SWINCOMBE FLEAT, the outsider of the five-runner field, can follow suit. She was well beaten at Sandown last time but that was in a Grade 2 contest and she still arrives here with the joint-best last-time-out speed figure according to Proform’s ratings.
Today’s Best Bets
Andys Flame – 1pt each-way – 3.15 Downpatrick (6-1 generally)
Swincombe Fleat – 1pt win – 4.10 Chepstow (8-1 generally)
