Today is WHERE’S JEFF day. It’s a bit like Krazy Paving day but with this one we simply back him on his second start of the season. He won at the second time of asking in 2018 (6-1), again in 2019 (100-30), was second by a length in 2020 (15-2) having finished a 28-length last of 12 on his reappearance and, last year, ran third at 100-30.
Six of his seven wins have come on tracks with stiff uphill finishes like Hamilton and he shaped with promise on his reappearance when fifth of nine at Haydock. He’s been dropped 2lb to 72, his last winning mark.
