Sunday’s racing is very much a case of ‘after the Lord Mayor’s show’ but it might be worth having a small interest on SILVER IN DISGUISE now that he returns to fences. Tim Vaughan’s seven-year-old finished well beaten on his reappearance at Chepstow last month but that was over hurdles on his first start following wind surgery and is safely ignored.
He scored over the larger obstacles on his final start last term and progeny of his sire Sulamani do well on their second start back after a wind operation, landing seven of their 25 starts for a profit of £36.20 to £1. The two previous qualifiers this month both placed (18-1 and 14-1) and he’s also taken to reward each-way support.
