COMPASS POINT did brilliantly to finish third against the strong pace bias on the all-weather here last time. It was incredibly difficult to come from the back that day and the two that beat him were one-two throughout.
He’s 0-9 on turf but was beaten by a neck at Windsor on soft ground last summer and is only 3lb higher here despite having won three times on the all-weather since.

NUBOUGH pulled miles clear of the remainder when second by a neck to Pearl Of Qatar in a fast time at Ayr on last month’s comeback and the winner followed up under a 5lb penalty before her narrow second off a 9lb higher mark at Hamilton.
