ROSEMARY AND THYME has only a Class 5 Polytrack win to her name from 13 starts but she may have been unlucky in the 7f Listed October Stakes at Ascot earlier this month. Hughie Morrison’s filly was sent off at 66-1 but was only beaten by a little more than three lengths into sixth of 14 after meeting trouble at a crucial stage.
She arrives here with the best last-time out speed figure according to Raceform and Hollie Doyle is a good booking.

LILITH – (4.15 Ffos Las, 2pt win, 4/1)
LILITH went into the tracker last December after racing in the ‘swamp’ on the inside rail in a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter. She trailed home in a 35-length third of five but it as easily excused. We didn’t see her until February when she unseated when still in contention on her return from wind surgery and she finished a respectable 10-1 third of 13 at Chepstow on her only subsequent start.
That form is nothing special but her yard is five from 15 with first-time wind op horses in handicaps (+£19.25 to a £1 level stake at SP) and this point winner could be suited by the switch to fences under Rules for the first time.

LETMELIVEMYLIFE – (7.30 Chelmsford, 1pt win, 6/1)
LETMELIVEMYLIFE was a big eyecatcher around the inside in a 6f Racing League handicap at Lingfield on his penultimate start, doing well to finish just over two lengths behind the winner after racing on the ‘dead’ rail.
He was only sixth over the same trip here next time but that run, his for two months and first since gelded, was probably needed. Both his wins have come over tonight’s 7f trip (here and at Wolverhampton) and he now returns to his optimum distance after four sprint runs.
His patient running style is always a worry round here, especially the way the track was riding at the last meeting, but he’s well drawn and there are two regular frontrunners in opposition.
