ELECTRIC LOVE needs a big field/strong pace scenario, ideally over 5f on turf, and hasn’t had conditions to suit in three outings since winning at Yarmouth last summer. She fared best of those ridden patiently when second of five at Wolverhampton in August and challenged on the slowest part of the track when a half-length third on the turf track at Lingfield shortly after.
Stall 1 and a wide trip did for her at Newcastle next time and she’s going to be a different proposition back on turf, after a break and in a 12-runner handicap that is likely to be run at a breakneck gallop. Her record over the minimum trip on turf reads 113 (2-3) and, with luck in running, she’s going to be bang there from a useful draw in stall 10.
