He has raced up with the pace in recent starts but those came over 7f-1m and the return to sprinting should see a more patient ride (worse way he’ll sit in second on the outside of likely pacesetter Howzak). He placed off higher marks in both handicap starts over this trip when with Brian Meehan and he’ll be happier back on Polytrack.
Progeny of No Nay Never show a profit of £44.41 when switching from Tapeta to a different type of all-weather surface. Cappananty Con is my regular go-to selection over 6f at Lingfield when he’s had a recent run but stall 1 puts me off and Rhys Clutterbuck, who took him to challenge up the ‘dead’ rail from his wide draw last time, rather than take the favoured outside route, keeps the ride.
