KINNIGOLI KID hasn’t been seen on a racecourse since his respectable 28-1 fifth of ten in a 5f nursery at Sandown last August where he found the trip very much on the sharp side, keeping on well in the closing stages to finish just under five lengths behind the winner. The son of No Nay Never was a winner over tonight’s 6f trip at Windsor on his juvenile debut and had excuses when last of nine at Newbury on his only other start, finding the ground too fast when 16-1 for a Listed race. His mark of 78 looks exploitable, he’s proven when fresh and his sire gets plenty of winners at this venue. I’ve saved on BRUNEL NATION, a handicap debutant from the Richard Hughes yard.
