2:30 Lingfield – Borough (2pt win – 9/4 generally)
Progeny of the sire New Bay have a fine record in handicaps, especially on the back of a top-three last-time-out effort. Simply siding with the sire’s handicappers, who finished in the top three on their latest outing, would have found 53 winners from 141 runners (37.6%) for a profit of £115.33 to a £1 level stake at SP. White Willow, the most recent qualifier, was a good winner at Epsom on Monday and BOROUGH can follow suit on his handicap debut.
Ralph Beckett’s juvenile did really well to finish third at Wolverhampton last time when the track was favouring early pace, as it has done all summer. Given a patient ride from his poor wide draw (stall 10 of 11), he kept on well to finish four lengths behind the winner and looks likely to improve for the extra furlong.

7:25 Hamilton – Little Miss Dynamo (1pt win – 4/1 Bet365, 11/4 generally)
I took a chance and backed LITTLE MISS DYNAMO ay Haydock last time, but she was unable to dominate and came home in third place. That was still a big improvement on her earlier runs this season and there doesn’t look to be much in way of competition for the early lead.
Her tendency to hang left could see her end up near the stands’ rail and while that is usually not the place to be at Hamilton, it didn’t look as bad at the last meeting.
