Jim Goldie’s five-year-old faces front-runners in the shape of Lipsink, Startling and Hanney Girl as well as seven prominent racers, She’s one of only two habitual hold-up performers – the other is the hard-to-win-with Call Margot who can usually be relied upon to meet trouble, especially in big fields. Her draw in stall 12 of 12 is another positive and there were plenty of positives to take from her staying on fourth of eight at Hamilton 48 hours ago where her high draw and patient style out her at a big disadvantage.

4.40 Sligo – Swing Time (2pts win – 100/30 bet 365, 3/1 generally)
Swing Time was a modest hurdler, and he finished well beaten at Roscommon on his chase debut early last month. However, that reverse came at odds of 200-1 in a beginners’ chase on the back of a 273-day break and he took a big step forward on his handicap chase debut at Ballinrobe 19 days ago, sauntering home by 20 lengths at odds of 25-1. The visual impression was backed up by the clock and there was no fluke about it. The seven-year-old remains open to further improvement over fences and can follow up.
