Tapeta is the key to the James Fanshawe-trained YEOMAN and the return to his favourite surface will suit after last month’s respectable Lingfield fourth on his first run for 164 days. The four-year-old’s record on this surface reads 11219 (3-5), with the runner-up effort over an inadequate 1m trip at Southwell and the ninth at Wolverhampton on his final start before his winter break when he’d probably had enough for the season. He won at the second of asking last term and though yet to race here, the track will suit his come-from-behind style.
