6.10 Hamilton – ZIGGY’S QUEEN (1pt win – 7/2 generally)
ZIGGY’S QUEEN caught the eye at York last time, doing well to finish a 33-1 sixth of 17 under a patient ride from a poor draw in stall 15 (once adjusted for the non-runners) in a 5f handicap. Three of the first four home came from the three lowest draws that day and all three were prominent throughout. York probably isn’t the ideal track for Richard Fahey’s filly either – her record on the Knavesmire now reads 866 (0-3), as compared to 3221 (1-4) at other tracks. Hamilton should suit and she’s worth another try at this 6f trip.
